Much has been debated about the value of digital property and user-creation. Terra Nova has also previously focused on how user creation can extend to the real world. Quality of user creation has also been as issue. It was with those issues in mind that I am so jazzed about SLExchange and the quality of the Saedaku Flamebringer, Saedaku Tactical Folding Knife and (of course) the Seburu Compact-eXploder. The Flamebringer in particular is interesting, as it is being developed for Unreal SL, Bedazzle's attempt to create an FPS within Second Life. PixelDolls and VERTU have also started selling content as well.
Much like Gaming Open Market, SLExchange does a great job of integrating into Second Life and makes it easy for users to shop when they aren't online or don't have a lot of time. I think that it will be very interesting to watch SLExchange's expansion over the coming weeks and months.
Hey, thanks for bringing SL Exchange to my attention. This site, more than practically any other SL derivative I've seen, seems to have huge potential. In-game markets are cool an all, but having a centralized, web-browsable salespoint for items definately makes shopping more attractive to users like me. I only wish there was some way I could invest in the SL Exchange venture directly. As you said, I think it will be interesting to watch their expansion over the coming weeks and months. :)

Thank you Corey for your enthusiasm! We are please that so many Second Life members have found SLExchange.com!
With the vast complexity of SL commerce, it seemed natural that a truly expanded marketplace was needed, and we sincerely hope people will find our eMarketplace to be of value and an important part of their SL experience.
Currently we have over 100 SL content creators listing their wares at our web site and we continue to greet new arrivals each day. Many merchants have listed free items, and we encourage everyone to log in today and see the website update we did this past weekend!
Thank you everyone for the wonderful support - we're just getting started!
