THE CYBORG AND ROBOTIC WONDERS OF MIROSLAW BUKOWSKI

The Extraordindary Avatar Expo was a Fall showcase for some the strangest, weirdest, and most fantastic non-human avatars created in Second Life. Voters at the Expo selected five Residents from 50 nominees, and I've been featuring over the last couple months. Previous entries include the Arabian Phoenix of Psyra Extraordinaire, the Cute and Creepy Tabula Rasa of Max Case, Cyberpunk Community Relations Rep Satchmo Prototype, and the Neosphere of Cross Quartermass.

On what inspires them

Most of my inspiration comes from playing various first person shooters like Quake 4, Unreal, and various concept art.

On building his avatars

On a average each avatar is over 100 prims, with few scripts. Creating some of my avatars is a little challenging, because there are some limits to the way you can build with these prims (that includes shapes). Sometimes you really need to get creative in order to get the look you are going for.

On selling his avatars

I don't have a big fancy shop... most of them can be found at Brown (96, 138). Ecofin and Effigy are both L$500 while SLD Robot is not for sale.
