UNEXPECTED WELCOME

In San Francisco, when oblivious tourists clamber off the cable cars, they're usually assaulted on all sides by street entertainers playing music, juggling, or imitating marble statues. Nice way to welcome newcomers to the city's unique nuttiness-- though usually, it just provokes stares and nervous laughter.

Sort of similar, apparently, to the way many new Residents responded to the Greek sculpture who greeted them as they arrived at Second Life's Welcome Area.
