GAME ON!

Entrants in the 2nd Second Life Game Developers competition were recently announced in the official forums here, with over a dozen teams chosen from ninety-plus applications. Judging of their games begins in July, but because it's the week of the Electronic Entertainment Expo (and since New World Notes has an acknowledged bias for in-world game development) I thought I'd devote all of this week's entries to the competition. To avoid any appearance of bias for or against particular games, I invited each team to tell me about their game in their own words and pictures. What follows in the coming days are all those who got their descriptions to me in time. (Before I have to head off to E3, myself.)

UPDATE, 5/17: For kicks and clarity's sake-- and with no trademark infringement against the good people at the Electronic Entertainment Expo intended-- I'm dubbing this whole week of New World Notes postings SL-E3 (pronounced "slee-three"), for Second Life Electronic Entertainment Entries.
