Now that the full archive of 2004 entries is up, I'm seeking advice on stories to pursue in 2005. What kind of entries would you like to see more of? Less of? What stories have I totally missed, and should go after in earnest? And so on. Post here, post often...

More interviews with random SL folks. Less thirty-part articles. More attention to "issues" brought up on the forums. Less fluff pieces.

I agree with Lordfly on more interviews with random SL folks (including newbies).

It may be interesting to interview a number of new people (their impressions, expetations, etc..), wait six months, then track down the "surviving" players to see how things turned out for them.

SL meets RL articles are always interesting.

I'll post more ideas if they come to me.

I agree with the above. Sort of a "av on the street" approach... there's sort of a pleasant naivety to that, a candid rawness. Keep it real, dawg, y0. :)

More romance articles are welcome too. ^_^

I, as a Telador builder, would like to see a piece on Telador Isle. It's really amazing what we do there. You could interview some builders (I don't want to mention any names, because I'll leave some out and people will get offended--but look at the "Telador Builders" group) and look around at the isle and stuff.

Good luck in '05!

More interviews of prominent SL personalities plus more "man-in-the-street" interviews of SL residents on the issues of the forums -- should there be residential/experimental/commercial zoning; what is life really like on the private islands, i.e. are they really so buggy; is SL just a game and does it have the capacity to be the WWW of online games; what is underwater in SL; what is in the air in SL, etc. Are you going to do any 2004 year-enders like "best technological advancement" or "best fashion" etc.

The people have spoken! (Well, three of them, anyway.) I'm putting together a "man on the street" interview series now...
